InView.AI is an AI-powered mock interview platform that simulates real interviews, generates resume-based questions, and evaluates resumes with ATS for job readiness.
InView AI provides personalized, immersive, and actionable preparation through intelligent mock interviews and resume evaluation for job seekers. Employing cutting-edge AI models, Gemini is used to parse resumes and generate context-based interview questions while Vapi is used to simulate verbal interviews in real-time. InView AI also uses an ATS (applicant tracking system) engine that searches resumes against job descriptions while providing a match score, identifying keywords that are missing, and offering opportunities for improvement.
InView AI combines AI-generated questions to practice with realistic verbal interaction and a resume analysis to provide a scalable, end-to-end process for candidates to practice, improve, and interview with confidence. InView AI is developed in a scalable stack with Next.js, TypeScirpt and Firebase architecture to provide extensibility and the opportunity for enhancements, such as behavioural analysis and recruiter dashboards.
Throughout the hackathon we quickly developed our concept into a prototype. We used Gemini AI to read and parse a resume and create customized interview questions based on specific job skills as well as experiences or education. We plugged in Vapi's voice API to mimic a real-time spoken interview, taking the experience to another level of authenticity. We put an ATS engine that reviewed a resume against a job description, giving a match score, missing keywords, and relevant commentary. The frontend was built on Next.js, and the backend was powered by TypeScript, incorporating a clean API architecture. By the end of the hackathon, we had a working demo that provided a mock interview, review of resume, and user interaction - providing a seamless, end-to-end interview preparation.
At this time InView AI needs no funding as it is being developed solely for innovation and demonstration. If the platform is scaled into a fully deployed product for public or commercial use, funding will be necessary to support infrastructure, advanced AI integration, and user growth. In the future, we are open to discussing investment or incubation approaches for the complete product development.
