Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced AWS Cloud Architect to design, implement, and optimize Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using AWS services integrated with Git-based version control systems (e.g., GitHub, GitLab). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS DevOps services and a strong understanding of infrastructure as code, security, and automation best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a scalable CI/CD pipeline architecture using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild,
 - CodeDeploy, and/or third-party tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI.
 - Integrate Git repositories (e.g., GitHub, GitLab) with AWS deployment infrastructure.
 - Define and manage infrastructure using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
 - Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging best practices using AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, and related services.
 - Configure secure and automated build/test/release workflows for web and mobile applications.
 - Collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams to ensure smooth delivery and deployment.
 - Ensure adherence to cloud security standards and compliance requirements.
 - Conduct performance optimization and cost control of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
 - Provide documentation and training for internal teams on CI/CD processes
 - Architect and deploy scalable, secure, and resilient AWS infrastructure for hosting dynamic websites and applications.
 - Oversee end-to-end infrastructure for site hosting, including networking, DNS, CDN, firewalls, and load balancers.
 - Design and manage automated deployment pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, or third-party DevOps tools.
 - Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, security, and reliability in cloud environments.
 - Monitor and tune infrastructure for high availability, uptime, and global content delivery using services like CloudFront, S3, and Route 53.
 - Ensure infrastructure security using IAM, KMS, VPC, WAF, Shield, and best practice configurations.
 - Perform regular cloud cost reviews and optimize billing using tools like AWS Cost Explorer and Trusted Advisor.
 - Maintain documentation and operational runbooks for all cloud infrastructure components.
 
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
 - Minimum 5 years of experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, and ECS/EKS.
 - Strong hands-on experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
 - Deep knowledge of Git workflows and experience with GitHub/GitLab integrations.
 - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar.
 - Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
 - Familiar with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).
 - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
 - Strong background in hosting WordPress, React, static and dynamic websites on AWS.
 - Experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and deployment automation.
 - Ability to troubleshoot web performance, scalability, and security issues.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional).
 - Experience with content delivery and optimization for global audiences.
 - Hands-on experience in edge caching, performance tuning, and zero-downtime deployment strategies.
 - Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, SOC 2, GDPR).
 - Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or DevOps team structures.
 - Experience working with teams in distributed or remote environments.
