Data Engineer (For Pooling)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure necessary to support our enterprise-wide data needs. This role requires a professional who is not only a technical expert but also a strategic thinker capable of ensuring data quality, accessibility, and security. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Builds scalable and efficient data systems, including data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines. Interprets user data requirements and creates appropriate documentation.
• Implements validation, monitoring, and cleansing processes to maintain accurate, consistent, and reliable data. Conducts data quality testing on data marts and reports.
• Creates robust ETL/ELT workflows to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Provides secure, timely access to data for analysts and business users while managing permissions and ensuring compliance.
• Responds to custom data requests and delivers insights that support business growth and performance tracking.
• Performs other Data Management or Data Platform-related tasks as assigned.
• Develops innovative solutions and creates actionable insights to drive better business decisions and performance.
• Ensures projects meet requirements and objectives through effective coordination with all stakeholders.
• Establishes a deep understanding of the business and collaborates with Business SMEs to shape reporting solutions.
• Resolves issues that arise across project activities and other systems.
• Influences senior leadership to adopt new ideas, projects, and approaches.
• Develops software solutions by studying information needs, collaborating with users, and following the software development lifecycle.
• Performs all tasks in the development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, and testing.
• Utilizes available programming methodologies and adheres to coding standards and procedures.
• Creates and helps maintain technical and end-user documentation.
• Identifies and helps mitigate risks to data and organizational health.



Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• 8+ years of total work experience in Information Technology, utilizing relational database tools like MS SQL Server, ETL (SSIS), Snowflake, and Databricks.
• 5+ years of experience with RDBMS concepts.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft .NET Framework / .Net Core, Microservices, Rest APIs, and Python.
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot data issues and optimize performance.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technology, software, and system solutions.
• Knowledge of Data Governance & Security principles, including data privacy, access control, and compliance standards.
