Introduction

DepRank is a project designed and implemented in response to Ethereum's latest proposal to address the challenge of public goods funding within the Ethereum ecosystem. It aims to enable Layer 2s, DAOs, and dApps to financially support the open-source software they depend on, fostering a more sustainable and transparent funding model for shared infrastructure.

By tracking inter-project dependencies and quantifying contribution flows, DepRank provides a robust mechanism for allocating funding based on actual usage and developer input.
