FiYield is an autonomous yield optimizer that maximizes DeFi returns on Monad without constant manual intervention. Using MetaMask Smart Accounts and delegations.
FiYield: AI-Powered Autonomous Yield Optimization on Monad
DeFi is supposed to democratize finance, but in reality, it’s too fragmented and too technical. For many people, it’s pure chaos. There are hundreds of protocols, yields that change by the hour, confusing risks, and gas fees that wipe out profits. Most people give up and go back to their banks. The truth is, DeFi isn’t broken by technology , it’s broken by complexity, creating a major barrier to mass adoption, especially in this part of the world where I’m from
What We Built: FiYield fixes DeFi’s biggest problem complexity. It’s an autonomous AI agent that manages your DeFi investments for you, using MetaMask Smart Accounts. You just deposit once, set your risk level, and our AI does everything else, researching protocols, moving funds, and rebalancing in real time to get you the best yield.
It’s like having a professional portfolio manager that works 24/7, without you ever losing control of your money. No gas fees, no constant approvals, no charts or audits, just set it up once and it keeps earning for you automatically.
So while DeFi used to require hours of research and technical knowledge, with FiYield, you simply click once and start earning, even your grandma could use it.
Core Innovation:
Real Autonomy Through Delegation
FiYield isn’t another DeFi dashboard — it’s self-driving finance.
Using MetaMask Smart Accounts (ERC-4337 + ERC-7710), users grant limited permissions once, and the AI agent takes over executing yield moves automatically, safely, and gas-free. You stay in full control, but without lifting a finger.AI-Driven Strategy Engine: Real-time analysis of protocol performance, TVL trends, and audit scores. Predictive modeling identifies sustainable APYs and auto rebalances when opportunities exceed 15% yield improvement.
Built Natively on Monad for Speed and Scalability
Monad’s 1-second finality and 10,000 TPS make real-time optimization actually possible.
FiYield can rebalance instantly and cost-effectively, something simply impossible on slower chains like Ethereum or even L2s.
Real-Time Intelligence with Envio HyperSync
FiYield’s brain runs on live data.
HyperSync integration streams millisecond-latency updates — APY changes, TVL shifts, and risk signals — directly to the AI. The result: decisions made faster than humanly possible, backed by on-chain truth.
Why It Matters: FiYield combines AI intelligence, smart-account autonomy, and real-time blockchain performance to make DeFi finally usable and profitable for everyone.
DeFi has massive potential but it’s still too hard for normal users.
Over $60B is currently locked across DeFi protocols, yet less than 3% of crypto users actively participate in yield farming. The biggest reason? It’s too complex, time consuming, and risky for everyday investors.
FiYield bridges that gap it’s the layer that turns passive crypto holders into active DeFi earners.
Target Market: Retail crypto users (non-technical holders of stablecoins and blue-chip assets like ETH & BTC).
Addressable Size:
100M+ MetaMask users globally
$160B in idle stablecoins sitting in wallets and exchanges
Growing institutional demand for automated yield strategies
Initial Focus: African and emerging markets where users already use crypto for savings but lack safe yield tools.
(FiYield gives them automated, transparent income opportunities without needing DeFi expertise.)
Revenue Model
FiYield earns by aligning with user success not exploiting it.
Performance Fee (Core Model):
5%-10% fee on profits generated by the AI agent (similar to how hedge funds charge “carry”).
Example: User earns $100 yield → FiYield takes $10.
Subscription Model (Pro Tier):
Power users and institutions pay a flat monthly fee for premium features:
Custom strategy tuning
Institutional dashboards
API access for DeFi funds
Delegation-as-a-Service (Future Expansion):
White-label FiYield’s AI delegation engine to wallets, exchanges, and DAOs who want to offer automated yield optimization under their own brand.
Challenges We Faced
1. Implementing True Delegation Autonomy (ERC-4337 + ERC-7710)
When we started, there were almost no live examples of combining ERC-4337 account abstraction with ERC-7710 smart delegations. We had to write custom logic to safely scope permissions so the AI could execute transactions withoutcustody risk. This required deep experimentation with MetaMask’s Smart Accounts SDK and extensive testnet simulations.
2. Real-Time Data Integration via Envio HyperSync
DeFi data changes by the second, and most APIs are too slow for live decision-making. Integrating Envio HyperSync to stream on-chain events in milliseconds required redesigning our backend logic from a polling model to a subscription-based event system.
3. UX Simplification for Non-Technical Users
Our biggest challenge wasn’t technical — it was human. We wanted DeFi to feel as simple as opening a savings account. Designing a flow that hides all the blockchain complexity (gas fees, approvals, wallets) while maintaining transparency was an ongoing design challenge we’re still refining.
Tech Stack: Solidity smart contracts on Monad testnet, MetaMask Delegation Toolkit SDK, Python/FastAPI AI backend with Scikit-learn, Envio HyperSync indexing, Next.js frontend.
During the hackathon, we built and deployed a fully functional MVP of FiYield , not just an idea, but a working product that demonstrates real delegation-powered automation on Monad. On the smart contract side, we deployed a complete suite on the Monad testnet, including FiYieldVault, AgentExecutor, StrategyRegistry, and RiskOracle. We verified that delegation and rebalancing transactions work end-to-end and integrated everything seamlessly with the frontend. For wallet infrastructure, we implemented MetaMask Smart Accounts using ERC-4337 and ERC-7710, allowing users to grant scoped, revocable permissions. This setup enabled gasless rebalancing through account abstraction, meaning users can automate everything without ever paying gas or giving up control. On the frontend, we built a fully functional web application with an intuitive interface. Users can view live APY updates, set their risk tolerance, manage delegations, and track their transaction history and performance analytics — all in real time. Finally, we deployed the MVP on Vercel and shared it on Farcaster for early community feedback.
FiYield is currently bootstrapped and has not raised external funding. We're focused on building a working product and proving traction on Monad testnet before pursuing institutional capital. Post-hackathon, we plan to explore pre-seed funding to expand our protocol whitelist, enhance AI capabilities, and grow our team.
