LumaRoots: Gamifying Real-World Reforestation on Mantle

Project Description LumaRoots bridges the gap between blockchain technology and environmental impact. We address the lack of transparency and engagement in traditional charity by introducing a "Play-to-Plant" model on the Mantle Network. Users plant virtual trees in our gamified platform, which directly fund real tree planting initiatives through our partner organizations.

Real-World Assets (RWA) and Verification Unlike standard simulation games, every asset in LumaRoots has a physical counterpart. Every tree purchase funds actual planting in reforestation projects worldwide. To ensure transparency, each tree is represented as an on-chain NFT certificate. This creates a verifiable and immutable record of every user's environmental contribution, proving exactly where and when their impact occurred.

Gamification and Engagement To maintain user interest beyond a one-time donation, LumaRoots incorporates robust game mechanics. Users can earn points, level up, and unlock achievements as they grow their forest. The core loop involves daily watering mechanics, encouraging users to engage with their digital trees every day to earn bonus points. This consistent engagement strengthens the connection between the user and their environmental impact.

Social Competition and Community We foster a global community of environmental guardians through competitive leaderboards. Users can compete to become the top contributor, driving organic growth and encouraging continuous participation in the ecosystem.

Accessible Onboarding and Sustainability We believe in lowering the barrier to entry for Web3 adoption. New users can claim one free tree to get started immediately without upfront costs. To sustain the platform, we feature a Premium Shop where users can unlock exclusive tree species and decorative items for their virtual forest, creating a viable economic model that supports long-term reforestation efforts.
