StockReef is an automatic risk-control protocol for tokenized stock borrowers and USDG lenders. It reduces outstanding debt before market closures through borrower-funded repayments, gradually tightening thresholds, and partial liquidation, and then gives recovery priority when the market opens again.
Stock-backed loans can carry debt through a market closure while the regular-session stock price stops updating. A loan that meets its limit on Friday may reopen undercollateralized on Monday. Blocking new borrowing does not reduce the debt already outstanding.
StockReef prepares TSLA-backed USDG loans before the close. It shows borrowers what to repay or add, executes USDG repayment buffers they funded in advance, and allows partial liquidation when a loan crosses a published, tightening threshold. It blocks new borrowing during closure and gives recovery actions time to run after a fresh reopening price arrives. Each repayment or liquidation still requires a transaction.
The result: lenders can safely lend up to 75%.
StockReef is live on Robinhood Chain testnet with Tesla and USDG: a funded market, real transactions on the explorer, and 535 tests. Next, we calibrate the limits on real data, add more stocks, get audited and launch on mainnet.
