StorySeal is a comprehensive IP protection suite built during the Story Protocol Hackathon, designed to protect AI-generated content through invisible watermarking and blockchain verification.
The platform combines LSB (Least Significant Bit) steganography with Story Protocol integration to embed IP Asset IDs directly into image pixels, ensuring verifiable ownership even when metadata is stripped.

The system provides a complete end-to-end solution from AI generation to IP registration, watermarking, violation detection, and automated enforcement.During the hackathon, we built StorySeal from scratch as a comprehensive IP protection suite for AI-generated content. We started with the core foundation: Next.js 14 architecture, Story Protocol SDK integration, and ABV.dev setup for AI generation with automatic Story Protocol registration. We then implemented a custom LSB steganography system that embeds IP Asset IDs directly into image pixels using canvas-based verification to handle PNG compression issues. The IP detection and enforcement system includes multi-provider reverse image search (SerpAPI, Serpdog, Bing, Google) with intelligent auto-fallback, AI-powered similarity detection using perceptual hashing, automated monitoring with scheduled scans, and comprehensive DMCA tools with PDF/Word export and email automation. We also added advanced features including Programmable IP License (PIL) management, analytics dashboard, C2PA verification support, and IPFS storage integration. Throughout development, we solved critical challenges: PNG compression data loss (canvas verification), CORS issues (server-side proxy routes), SVG conversion errors (comprehensive sanitization), and email automation (automatic TLS/SSL detection). The final product is production-ready with 20+ features, comprehensive security measures, robust error handling, and a modern UI, fully integrated with Story Protocol blockchain and ABV.dev's AI infrastructure.
