During the EDU Chain Semester 3 Hackathon, we successfully built Signify, a Web3-based decentralized music deal platform that empowers artists, record labels, and fans through transparent, smart contract-driven agreements. ✅ Key Achievements: Smart Contract Development: Deployed NFT-based music contracts ensuring transparent revenue distribution and automated payments. Escrow System: Implemented secure, on-chain escrow payments to prevent fraud and delayed payments. Artist Discovery & Crowdfunding: Enabled artists to showcase music, receive direct funding from fans, and sign fair deals with record labels. On-Chain Reputation System: Built a trust-based mechanism to verify record labels and prevent scams. Deployed on Ethereum Sepolia: Testing phase completed with plans for Layer-2/mainnet deployment on EDU Chain. Full-Stack DApp: Developed a user-friendly interface for artists, labels, and fans to interact seamlessly with smart contracts. 🚀 Next Steps: Mainnet deployment on EDU Chain for scalability. Enhancing user experience and adding more funding models. Expanding adoption by onboarding more artists and record labels. Signify is shaping the future of decentralized music deals! 🎶
