Business Development Manager-Tokenisation

HashKey Group, one of the world's pioneering licensed digital asset financial firms, is seeking a Senior Director, Licensed Business Management. You will be responsible for cross-functional business management of the Company's overseas licensed exchange entities, which currently includes Bermuda and Europe. You will report to HashKey's managing director for HashKey's overseas licensed digital asset exchange businesses.

This pivotal role oversees the overall management and operational strategy of our overseas licensed exchanges. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading cross-regional teams, managing licensed exchange operations, and driving business growth in international markets. This position is cross-functional and entrepreneurial in nature; long-term, candidates who succeed in this role may be recommended to manage a larger overseas team, in relation to the growth of the business.

This position is based in Hong Kong with global travel requirements (~30%).

You Will:

Be directly responsible for overall business management and operational risk management of a fast-growing overseas licensed digital asset exchange business.

As the head of licensed entity business management, you will be directly involved in management decisions across legal, risk, compliance, finance, operations, IT, and more.

Work closely with other cross-functional heads of departments to solve day-to-day licensed business needs.

Lead annual and periodic business reviews for executive management review.

Work with compliance, legal, and risk teams to ensure all regional business activities comply with local and group-wide regulatory requirements.

Monitor operational risks on a day-to-day basis, in collaboration with risk management team and executive management

Set clear objectives and evaluate performance against established metrics.

Work with the CFO team on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for regional operations.

Lead initiatives for market entry and expansion in new regions.

Qualifications:

Bilingual: Applicants should be fluent in English and native in Mandarin Chinese.

Possesses at least 6 years of extensive experience in fintech, crypto, and/or traditional finance.

Deep understanding of operational risk

Proven product experience working with mid-back office teams, e.g. legal, risk, and compliance.

Cross-functional understanding of digital asset exchange operations.

Strong leadership skills with experience in managing diverse, cross-functional teams.

Risk management background a plus

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to travel extensively.
