Job Summary: MMP is seeking an experienced and client-focused Manager to spearhead a newly established unit tasked with the business development of MMP Premier. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a dedicated unit and ensuring exceptional client experience and seamless service execution.


Key Responsibilities:

I. Strategic Leadership & Business Development:

  • Develop and implement strategies to position MMP Premier as the provider of high-end park estates and premium memorial services.
  • Recommend strategies to the CEO and execute the strategic plan for business growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with third-party agencies targeting the higher income demographic.
  • Design and execute marketing and branding initiatives to enhance visibility among affluent clientele.
  • Develop pricing and bundling strategies for Premier services.
  • Conduct research to identify new business opportunities, including markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, and services. Analyze trends and competitor activities; Stay informed about industry developments and competitor strategies to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Manage and track business development; Track key metrics, identify areas for improvement, and optimize campaigns for better result.
  • Collaborate with other Departments; Work closely with Park Services, Sales and Park Operations to ensure Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) alignment and a seamless customer experience.

II. Partnerships and Alliances:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party agents who target MMP Premier’s target market.
  • Oversee the sales of park estate and columbarium spaces through third-party agents.
  • Ensure that third-party agents are well-equipped to represent the MMP Premier brand and its offerings.
  • Forge strategic partnerships, collaborations, and alliances with other businesses to strengthen the company's market position.
  • Identify and pursue new revenue streams, develop sales plans, and manage high-profile sales activities.
  • Lead negotiations for major deals, contracts, and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for the company.

III. Premier Services Liaison:

  • Help liaise with MMP Premier clients and the Park Services team of MMP.
  • Oversee personalized consultations, site visits, and concierge-level afterlife services to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Manage the execution of high-end memorial services, ensuring flawless coordination between sales, collections and service teams.

IV. Operations & Service Excellence:

  • Work closely with internal and external partners to enhance service offerings and operational efficiency.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain excellence in all Premier services.
  • Track and analyze the performance of business development initiatives, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.

V. Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of media and service specialists.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, discretion, and empathy in client interactions.
  • Monitor team performance, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of business development professionals, guiding them to achieve targets and objectives.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, Communication Arts or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in professional services, high-end real estate, wealth management, or luxury hospitality.
  • Proven track record in handling clients, with a deep understanding of their service expectations.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a small, high-performing team.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
  • Knowledge of memorial park operations or related industries is an advantage.
  • Ability to maintain discretion, empathy, and professionalism at all times.
