Sanwó is a fintech platform built with MetaMask SDK, designed to streamline how businesses manage workforce payroll, contractor, and vendor payments using StableCoin. We eliminate the friction of traditional payment systems by leveraging the speed, security, and low cost of the Linea network.

Key features include employee/contractor onboarding, recurring payment scheduling, secure Web3 wallet integration (via MetaMask SDK) for direct USDC transactions, real-time payment tracking, and insightful financial reporting. Sanwó provides a user-friendly interface for managing complex payment workflows, offering businesses enhanced transparency, faster settlements (especially globally), and significant cost savings. Built with Next.js, Firebase, and smart contracts on Linea, Sanwó demonstrates a practical, high-performance application of Layer 2 technology for essential business operations.

Inspiration
Sanwó is a word gotten from west african origin "FROM THE YORUBA PEOPLE" meaning to assist with payment.
Sanwó was built with the intention to help web3 startup manage and keep track of their financies at low cost.

Challenges

Some chanllenges we ran into when building Sanwó includes storing employee information, we could not store employee information in the blockchain due to privacy and compliance isssue so we had to use cloud solution like firebase to manage company data while all the payment are handle by smart contract.

Web3 Wallet Integration: Secure connection to Web3 wallets for seamless transactions. Payment is in USDC Transaction Tracking: Comprehensive record of all payroll and contractor payment transactions. Filtering and search capabilities. Financial Reporting: Overview of key financial metrics (total payroll disbursed, transaction volume). Payment trends analysis. User Authentication & Security: Firebase authentication and MetaMaskSDK for secure user accounts management.
