IT Developer Virtual Assistant

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Developer Virtual Assistant (IT Developer VA) to support our client with various coding, testing, and project management tasks. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of programming languages, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in writing, testing, and debugging code for web and software applications.
• Support the development team in project planning and execution.
• Collaborate on software development projects, ensuring timely delivery of tasks.
• Maintain and update existing applications, fixing bugs and adding features as needed.
• Help with database management and data entry tasks.
• Conduct research on new technologies and development tools.
• Document technical processes and code for future reference.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in coding standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a developer or in a similar technical role.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#).
• Familiarity with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Django).
• Understanding of database management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.

Hiring Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in software development.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer, AWS Certified Developer) are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work flexible hours as needed - Various USA time zones
