Referral App Marketing & Growth Specialist

Position Overview
We are seeking a Referral App Marketing & Growth Specialist to support the growth and engagement of the company referral app. This role focuses on increasing app downloads, driving referral activity, and improving ongoing customer engagement through digital marketing and in-store promotional strategies.
The ideal candidate has experience in app marketing, digital advertising, and campaign execution, with a strong understanding of customer acquisition and retention.
Key Responsibilities
App Growth Campaigns
- Plan and execute seasonal and ongoing campaigns to increase app downloads
- Build and manage simple user funnels (awareness → install → activation → referral)
Digital Advertising (Google & Meta)
- Launch and manage targeted advertising campaigns for new and existing customers
- Retarget website visitors and previous customers
- Test and optimize ad creatives to improve performance and efficiency
Creative & In-Store Marketing Support
- Develop or coordinate creation of marketing assets such as graphics, videos, banners, QR-code stands, and in-store displays
- Support social media and email/SMS marketing visuals related to app promotion
Customer Database Marketing
- Execute email, SMS, and app push campaigns to promote app usage
- Segment customers based on behavior, value, and lifecycle (e.g., high-value customers, special occasions, non-users)
In-Store Promotion Support
- Create simple talking points and materials to help store staff promote the app
- Develop quick install guides and checkout prompts to encourage downloads
Reporting & Analysis
- Track and report on key metrics including app downloads, cost per install, referral conversions, and campaign ROI
- Provide insights to support continuous improvement of app engagement and growth strategies
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in digital marketing, app growth, or performance marketing
- Familiarity with Google Ads and Meta Ads platforms
- Experience with customer database marketing (email, SMS, push notifications)
- Ability to create or coordinate marketing assets for digital and in-store use
- Strong analytical skills with experience tracking campaign performance
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple campaigns
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
