Creators publish videos for free. Viewers pay per second they watch — directly through MetaMask.
Today's streaming platforms are fundamentally unfair to creators. YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok enforce monetization thresholds (1,000 subscribers, 4,000 watch hours, 10,000 followers) below which creators earn exactly zero . Even when thresholds are met, platforms take 30–50% and pay out weeks or months later. Viewers, meanwhile, are forced to watch ads or pay for subscriptions that don't reflect how much content they actually consume.
Robinfans removes both the thresholds and the middlemen. Creators publish videos for free, set a price per second, and receive money directly from viewers in real time. Viewers pay only for what they actually watch.
How it works:
Creator creates a channel, pastes a YouTube link, and sets a price per second (e.g., 0.0001 rfUSDG).
Viewer deposits funds, clicks "Watch & Pay" — and money flows to the creator every second.
Viewer can pause, top up, or stop watching and get a refund for unused time.
Creator withdraws accumulated earnings anytime.
Trust and transparency: Smart contracts guarantee creators get paid per second, and viewers pay only for actual watch time. All transactions are onchain.
Frictionless micro-payments: Robinhood Chain is an L2 on Arbitrum with low fees . This is critical for per-second payments that would be impossible on Ethereum mainnet.
Native stablecoin: We use test USDG (rfUSDG) — the native token of Robinhood Chain. This eliminates wrappers and simplifies viewer onboarding.
Why Arbitrum: Robinhood Chain is built on the Arbitrum Platform, giving us EVM compatibility, low latency, and predictable transaction pricing . We're using the Arbitrum stack to build a consumer-grade application.
Streaming payments instead of subscriptions: Viewers pay per second, not per month. This is fairer for both viewers and creators.
Direct monetization from viewer #1: Unlike YouTube or TikTok, creators earn immediately, with no thresholds or waiting .
Full viewer control: Pause, resume, top up, refund — all in the viewer's hands.
MockStreamFlow as foundation: We built a custom streaming payment contract with the same function signatures as Sablier Flow, but without external dependencies for testnet.,

Robinfans supports two connection methods, each with its own fee structure. The choice is yours.
🔐 Option 1: Passkey (Face ID / Touch ID / Windows Hello)
Zero friction. No browser extension, no seed phrase, no ETH for gas.
Sign up with your fingerprint or face — a smart wallet is created automatically.
Gas fees are paid by Robinfans. You never need to think about transaction costs.
Platform fee: 10% (5% platform + 5% to cover sponsored gas).
Best for: New users, mobile viewers, anyone who wants a seamless experience.
🦊 Option 2: MetaMask (Browser Wallet)
Full self-custody. You control your keys.
You pay your own gas fees in ETH on Robinhood Chain.
Platform fee: 5% — half of the Passkey rate.
Best for: Experienced crypto users who already have ETH for gas.
Best for: Users with existing wallets and ETH.
Passkey | MetaMask | |
|---|---|---|
Wallet setup | Automatic (Face ID) | You already have one |
Seed phrase | ❌ No | ✅ You manage it |
Gas fees | Paid by Robinfans | Paid by you (ETH) |
Platform fee | 10% | 5% |
Best for | New / mobile users | Crypto-native users |
Both options work exactly the same inside the platform — publish videos, set your price per second, and get paid in rfUSDG. The only difference is how you connect and who pays the gas.
