What We’re Looking For
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to support our client’s growing group of businesses. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of accounting experience and will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily accounting operations across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist with the preparation of invoices, billing statements, and payment processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and support general ledger maintenance.
- Help prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation is in place.
- Support monthly closing activities, including preparation of basic financial reports.
- Assist with payroll processing, including employee deductions and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements such as BIR, SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth.
- Monitor travel-related costs and operational expenses, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Assist in maintaining organized and up-to-date financial records for internal use and audits.
- Coordinate with internal departments for cost allocation and accurate financial data reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a service-oriented or travel-related business.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools).
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reconciliation.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work well within a team.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
