🌾 The Problem: A $50B Liquidity Gap
In Latin America, small farmers feed the world but starve for cash.
The Trap: Farmers sell produce to giants (Walmart, Whole Foods) but get paid in 90 to 120 days.
The Pain: Without immediate cash, they cannot buy seeds for the next season or pay wages.
The Barrier: Traditional banks ignore requests under $50k or take months to approve them due to paperwork.
💡 The Solution: Agro-Bond
Agro-Bond is a decentralized micro-factoring protocol for Real World Assets (RWA) built natively on Mantle Network. We turn invoices into liquid capital in seconds, not months.
How it Works:
📄 Tokenization: The exporter uploads a verified invoice. We mint it as an ERC-1155 NFT (Senior/Junior Tranches).
🧠 AI Risk Engine: Our off-chain deterministic engine evaluates the payer's creditworthiness (e.g., Walmart vs. Unknown) instantly, generating a cryptographic signature for on-chain validation.
💧 Instant Liquidity: DeFi investors provide liquidity (mETH) to buy these bonds at a discount, earning yield backed by real-world debt.
🏗️ Why Mantle Network? (The Secret Sauce)
Traditional factoring is impossible on Ethereum L1 because gas fees ($20-$50) eat up the profit margin of a small invoice ($500).

Development Journey & Achievements Agro-Bond was architected and built entirely from scratch during the Mantle Hackathon. Our goal was to prove that RWA Micro-Factoring is viable on Mantle Network. 1. Smart Contract Architecture (Week 1): We designed the ERC-1155 logic to handle fractionalized debt (Senior/Junior tranches). Developed the LiquidityPool.sol with an Automated Market Maker (AMM) logic for instant swapping. Challenge: Implementing secure off-chain data validation. Solution: We built an Oracle contract using EIP-712 signatures to verify risk scores on-chain without gas-heavy computations. 2. Frontend & Integration (Week 2): Built the UI using Next.js 14 and TailwindCSS with a "Dark Emerald" aesthetic to fit the Mantle ecosystem. Integrated Wagmi/Viem for seamless interaction with Mantle Sepolia. The Pivot: We initially planned a live PDF OCR integration. However, to ensure a smooth, lag-free demo for the judges, we pivoted to a Deterministic Risk Engine. This mimics the exact logic of the final product (inputs -> score -> signature) but uses pre-set scenarios to demonstrate the protocol's security and flow reliably. 3. Security & Deployment (Week 3 - The Polish): Conducted an internal security audit. Implemented ReentrancyGuard on the Liquidity Pool and Pausable mechanisms for emergency stops. Final Delivery: Successfully deployed and verified all contracts on Mantle Sepolia Explorer.
