  • Normal Wills: Triggered by user inactivity (default: 10 years, customizable)

  • Milestone Wills: Release assets based on academic achievements like graduation or research submission

  • Automates scholarship grants via blockchain verification

  • Supports milestone-based payouts to students and researchers

  • Enables onchain transfer of academic certificates, research papers, and NFT-based IP

  • Detects inactivity with a default 10-year timer (configurable)

  • Includes a 1-year withdrawal cooldown

  • Custom payout schedules tied to milestones

  • Beneficiaries are fixed once the will is deployed

  • Protected by anti-front-running mechanisms

  • Signature-based verification for secure claims

  • Funds remain locked until all conditions are met

Use the provided Solidity function to check all wills associated with a beneficiary and return the claimable balance.


🔁 User Flow

  1. User creates a will — selects between Normal or Milestone

  2. For Normal Wills, funds are locked, and the inactivity timer starts

  3. For Milestone Wills, user sets educational conditions

  4. Upon inactivity or milestone completion, assets are automatically distributed


🛡️ Security Measures

  • Funds locked until all conditions are fulfilled

  • Customizable cooldown and inactivity detection

  • Signature-based verification to prevent fraud

  • Platform fee at creation to avoid misuse

  • Beneficiaries ≠ Owner

  • Reset inactivity timer to extend will validity

  • Withdraw funds only post-cooldown and based on preset rules

本次黑客松进展

During the course of the hackathon, our team made significant strides in both development and implementation of the Axienz platform. We successfully ideated and finalized the core concept: a decentralized smart-will system focused on digital legacy and educational inheritance. Developed and deployed the initial version of the Solidity smart contract on the BNB Chain Testnet, enabling both normal and milestone-based will creation. Integrated contract functionality into a Next.js-based frontend using Ethers.js, allowing users to create wills, assign beneficiaries, and ping activity status from the dashboard. Implemented the core user flows: wallet connection, will creation, contract pinging, and claiming assets. Designed and tested milestone logic for educational achievement-based inheritance triggers. Set up environment configuration, contract verification on BSCScan, and basic deployment automation scripts. Created a responsive and intuitive UI with wallet integration to simplify user onboarding. Conducted internal testing on the BNB Chain Testnet to validate all flows and edge cases. By the end of the hackathon, we had a working MVP that allowed real users to experience on-chain inheritance planning — from fund locking to automated transfer — with full transparency and zero third-party dependency.
