During the hackathon, I rebuilt Imperfect Breath from the ground up after deciding to scrap an early integration with Story Protocol. That solution proved too complex and unreliable for the platform’s goals. The pivot allowed me to refocus on building a more robust, user-friendly, and decentralized experience. Key improvements included: Migrated to Flow blockchain for seamless, reliable NFT minting and marketplace functionality. Integrated Lens Protocol to power decentralized social sharing, replacing Story Protocol with a more stable and mission-aligned alternative. Developed a tiered AI vision system (Basic, Standard, Premium) to support a wide range of devices and ensure accessibility. Implemented unified authentication, enabling both wallet connections and traditional email sign-ins for broader usability. Built a responsive, mobile-first interface with Progressive Web App (PWA) features to enhance engagement across platforms. Established a creator economy, featuring pattern design tools, NFT minting, and social sharing to empower both users and instructors. This rebuild emphasized stability, inclusivity, and practical innovation over complexity—delivering a platform that fulfills its core mission: providing AI-enhanced breathing guidance with user ownership, decentralized identity, and Web3-native value creation.
