USAFI transforms environmental responsibility into economic opportunity through blockchain-powered accountability. Track consumption, report waste, earn tokens, and build a cleaner future.
Overview
USAFI is a decentralized, blockchain-powered platform designed to tackle environmental pollution by transforming civic responsibility into economic opportunity. By enabling real-time tracking of consumer goods, incentivized citizen reporting, and seamless legal data integration, USAFI introduces a fair, transparent, and scalable model for environmental accountability across Kenya and the Global South.
Despite the existence of environmental laws, enforcement remains weak and inaccessible in many developing regions. Waste management systems are underfunded, and citizens who care about their environment are often left without tools or motivation to participate meaningfully. Pollution is rampant in public spaces, yet the connection between consumer behavior and environmental harm is invisible and untraceable.
USAFI provides a three-step framework that empowers citizens and connects consumers, waste reporters, and authorities on a secure blockchain network:
Tokenized Consumption
Each supermarket product is assigned a Unique Goods Identifier (UGI), cryptographically mapped to the buyer at the point of sale.
Ensures accountability and traceability for post-purchase environmental behavior.
Citizen Reporting with Rewards
Users can scan littered products using a mobile app to report them.
Each report is GPS-tagged, image-verified, and rewarded instantly with USAFI tokens.
A gamified leaderboard encourages sustained environmental engagement.
Legal Integration & Enforcement
Verified data flows directly to authorities (e.g., NEMA, county governments, environmental courts).
A tamper-proof evidence chain is created, ensuring fair and automated enforcement with zero corruption pathways.
EVM-Compatible: Built on scalable blockchains such as Core Chain or Polygon.
Smart Contracts: Handle UGI minting, token distribution, and KYC mapping.
AI-Powered Oracle Layer: Verifies image authenticity and boosts data reliability.
Privacy by Design: Ensures anonymity where needed while maintaining legal accountability.
Total Supply: 2.1 Billion USAFI Tokens (Fixed Supply)
Distribution:
Community Rewards: 45%
Ecosystem & Grants: 20%
Legal & Partnerships: 12%
Development Team: 10%

USAFI champions tech fairness by:
Democratizing environmental monitoring through open access tools
Rewarding underserved communities for civic participation
Ensuring transparency in enforcement using tamper-proof blockchain records
Creating legal pathways that reduce corruption and protect citizen whistleblowers
Encouraging inclusivity by integrating with low-cost smartphones and feature-light apps
At its core, USAFI is a movement not just a platform. It envisions a world where:
Every purchase is accountable
Every act of pollution is visible and traceable
Environmental stewardship is rewarded
Blockchain is used for trust, truth, and transformation
“This is not just about tech. It’s about truth, trust, and transformation.”
Wycliffe Osano, Project Lead
USAFI bridges the gap between consumer behavior, environmental responsibility, and civic justice. By aligning individual incentives with collective well-being through blockchain technology, USAFI offers a fair, scalable, and transformative solution for building cleaner and more accountable societies.
We are currently pre-funding and actively exploring partnerships, grants, and aligned capital to support our roadmap. Our focus so far has been on building a solid prototype, community alignment, and technical validation. We welcome conversations with investors and ecosystem supporters who share our mission of using technology to drive environmental accountability and civic empowerment.
