描述
WalP is a payment gateway built on the Flow blockchain that empowers everyday merchants to accept crypto payments through simple, shareable payment links. The goal is to bridge traditional online selling with blockchain technology, enabling businesses to collect crypto payments securely without needing a storefront or deep Web3 knowledge.
With WalP, merchants can create branded checkout links, receive payments in Flow tokens, and manage their earnings through a unified dashboard. The platform ensures trustless transactions using Flow smart contracts while maintaining a user-friendly experience through responsive frontend and backend integrations.
WalP represents a step toward making decentralized payments accessible, practical, and scalable for real-world commerce.

本次黑客松进展
During the hackathon, we focused on transforming WalP from a concept into a functional prototype. We built the core payment workflow — allowing merchants to generate crypto payment links, process payments on Flow, and view transaction data through the dashboard. The backend was integrated with MongoDB for real-time transaction storage, while the Cadence smart contract handled fee routing and merchant payouts. We also refined the user experience with a responsive interface, added OTP-based authentication for merchant onboarding, and optimized API endpoints for performance. By the end of the hackathon, WalP could create, pay, and track payments end-to-end, bridging the gap between traditional e-commerce and decentralized payments.

WalP is currently a self-funded project developed during the hackathon. Focused primarily on building a working MVP and validating the product concept. While we haven’t raised external funding yet, we’re open to exploring grants, partnerships, and early-stage investments to help scale adoption and enhance the platform’s infrastructure.
