During the hackathon, we made significant progress on Work Chain. We successfully developed and implemented the smart contracts, covering core functionalities such as freelancer and client registration, job posting with budget specifications, application management, and the assignment and approval process. The escrow system is in place, ensuring secure payment holding and automatic release upon job completion and client approval. On the backend, we completed the smart contract integration, enabling seamless data retrieval, storage, and admin verification for job postings. The frontend development is partially completed, featuring freelancer and client dashboards, job listings, and application interfaces. We are still refining the UX/UI and adding functionalities for payment status tracking and transaction visibility. The remaining tasks include enhancing the frontend design, building a job recommendation system to personalize suggestions, and conducting final testing and deployment on the Avalanche Testnet.

Currently, Work Chain is in the development phase and has not yet initiated any fundraising rounds. Our focus during the hackathon has been on building the core functionalities and refining the platform. Moving forward, we plan to explore fundraising opportunities through grants, seed funding, and partnerships with blockchain investors and accelerator programs. Our goal is to secure funding to enhance development, scale operations, and promote adoption of Work Chain.
