The Social Media Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and monitoring our social media strategy to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and increase sales. This individual should be passionate about social media, creative in crafting content, and strategic in growing our online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and Implement Social Media Strategy:
- Create, implement, and manage the social media strategy.
- Define the most important social media KPIs.
- Manage and oversee social media content.
2. Content Creation and Management:
- Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news).
- Collaborate with other teams, such as marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure brand consistency.
- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
3. Campaign Management:
- Run social media advertising campaigns.
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
4. Community Engagement:
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries promptly, and monitor customer reviews.
- Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g., Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, blog layout).
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, such as promotions and competitions.
5. Analytics and Reporting:
- Analyze social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement.
- Prepare reports on social media performance and present them to senior management.
6. Trend Monitoring:
- Research and monitor the activity of company competitors.
- Discover trends and news, relevant to the company’s or client’s industry.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Experience Level: 3-5 years in social media management or related roles.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong skills in Marketing, Sales, Business Development, SEO, Canva, and Problem-Solving.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Develop social media strategies, create engaging content, and analyze performance metrics.
