- The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
- The controller will work closely with senior management to drive financial performance and ensure the organization meets its financial objectives.
Financial Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure financial reports are accurate, timely, and comply with accounting standards
- Prepare and present financial statements to senior management and stakeholders.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial forecasts.
- Analyze variances between actual performance and budgeted figures.
- Work with department heads to create and monitor departmental budgets.
Accounting & Compliance:
- Supervise the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
- Coordinate external audits and ensure timely submission of tax filings.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity to ensure the organization’s financial health.
- Prepare cash flow projections and maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
Financial Analysis:
- Provide financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Conduct performance analysis on key financial metrics such as profitability, cost control, and return on investment.
- Assist senior management with business strategy and operational decisions.
Team Management:
- Lead and manage the finance and accounting team.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration within every department.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA is a plus).
- Experience: 3-7 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks), Microsoft Excel, and other accounting tools.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and budgeting.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
