Why It Matters

Monk addresses three major pain points:

1. The complexity of Web3 — Simplified into a fintech-like UX.

2. Volatility — Monk auto-stabilizes every transaction (Every fiat or crypto token sent to monk is store in stablecoin).

3. Fragmented cross-border payments — Monk unifies all currency flows in one platform creating a seamsless bridge between fiat and crypto.

Challenges I ran into

1. Compliance issue when implemeting the fiat part of product, we were in talk in with embeded finacial platform like Get Anchor but due to compliance we have to hault the implementation of the fiat part of the application.

2. the timeline of the hackathon was too short to implement all the plan feature of the platform

3. Expo React native had issues when we tried implementing google auth signin so we had to default to phone number signup
