HarborFi: Connecting Everything Beneath the Surface
HarborFi is a decentralized application built on the Pharos Network that bridges the world of crypto with real-life financial use cases. From QR-based retail payments to cross-border stablecoin swaps, HarborFi enables people to seamlessly interact with digital assets in their daily lives — especially across Southeast Asia.
Users can scan and pay with crypto like they do with mobile banking. They can convert regional stablecoins (HIDR, HTHB, HPHP), track their portfolio, and send money internationally — all on-chain, all composable, and all powered by Pharos and Supra Oracles.
We also integrated with Xendit as our payment gateway to connect crypto to traditional rails like QRIS, Virtual Accounts, and bank transfers. This lets HarborFi act as a real-world on/off-ramp — not just another DeFi app.
HarborFi is built with heart — aiming to make decentralized finance truly usable by freelancers, tourists, small businesses, and families. This is our first step to unlock borderless payments for the billions who need it most
We went through a messy middle, but we never gave up. At first, HarborFi was just an idea: bridging crypto to real-world QR payments. But turning that into a working product took everything from smart contract deployment, oracle integration, stablecoin logic, asset tracking, and payment gateway coordination. We faced technical blockers, integration bugs, and pressure from time. But we kept building. During this hackathon, we completed: Smart contracts on Pharos using EVM and Supra Oracle Stablecoin mint, burn, and swap logic (HIDR, HTHB, HPHP) Frontend with QR-based UI using Next.js & Tailwind Backend server with Express to connect Web3 payment APIs Real integration with Xendit for deposits & withdrawals via QR and VA Working demo at https://harborfi.xyz Even though some parts felt overwhelming, we knew the impact this project could make, especially for people in emerging markets. That belief kept us pushing forward. And we’re proud to submit HarborFi as a real, usable solution built on Pharos.
HarborFi is currently pre-funding. The project was initiated and developed during the Pharos Hackathon to demonstrate the real-world utility of decentralized finance. While we’ve bootstrapped development with our own resources, we are actively exploring opportunities for funding — whether through grants, hackathon prizes, ecosystem support, or early partnerships. Any support will directly help us evolve HarborFi from a working prototype to a production-ready solution that brings real crypto adoption to Southeast Asia. Our next step includes expanding stablecoin coverage, launching pilot programs with merchants, and continuing integration with the Pharos ecosystem.
