The Business Development Supervisor is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing business opportunities within the industrial estate. This includes attracting new tenants, supporting existing businesses, and promoting the estate as a hub for industrial and commercial activities. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, fostering client relationships, and ensuring tenant satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

1. Business Growth and Client Acquisition

  • Identify potential businesses and industries to establish within the industrial estate.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new tenants and investors.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and client needs.
  • Negotiate leasing agreements and business contracts with potential clients.

2. Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing tenants to support retention.
  • Act as a point of contact for tenant concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Organize and participate in tenant meetings to discuss needs and feedback.

3. Marketing and Promotion

  • Develop promotional materials and campaigns to showcase the industrial estate.
  • Represent the estate at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the estate’s visibility and reputation.

4. Operational Oversight

  • Assist in coordinating with maintenance, security, and facility management teams to ensure tenant satisfaction.
  • Monitor tenant compliance with lease agreements and estate regulations.
  • Provide input on the development and improvement of estate infrastructure to meet market demands.

5. Reporting and Analysis

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to tenant acquisition and retention.
  • Prepare periodic reports on market trends, competition, and tenant feedback.
  • Analyze the performance of marketing and business development initiatives to recommend improvements.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or real estate, preferably within an industrial or commercial estate environment.
  • Proven track record in client acquisition and relationship management.

Working Conditions

  • Office-based role with frequent on-site visits within the industrial estate.
  • May require travel to attend events or meet potential clients.
