Business Analyst

• We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team, specializing in BackBase and API Center of Excellence (COE). In this role, you will be responsible for defining, analyzing, and managing business requirements, ensuring a seamless translation from conceptual ideas to functional specifications for development teams. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure all business needs are met, gaps are identified, and solutions are implemented effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Needs Analysis: Extract, analyze, define, and validate stakeholders' business needs.
• Requirement Translation: Ensure the smooth translation of conceptual requirements into functional requirements for the development team within BackBase and API COE.
• Requirement Management: Manage and track the status of requirements, revising them as needed to ensure they meet business objectives.
• Traceability: Ensure robust traceability of requirements across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to prevent gaps at different stages.
• Gap Analysis: Identify any gaps in requirements and work with stakeholders to define solutions, updates, or workarounds as needed.
• Document Management: Ensure effective document management using JIRA and Confluence, maintaining proper records and updates.
• Communication: Communicate changes, improvements, and updates in business requirements to stakeholders and document problems and solutions.
• Collaboration with Architects: Lead discussions with architects to identify any gaps in end-to-end implementation and ensure alignment across the team.
• Test Coverage: Collaborate with the Test Lead to ensure test scenario traceability and comprehensive coverage of all required scenarios.

Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on BackBase, API development, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and experience managing requirements throughout the entire process.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders, including architects, developers, and business teams.
• Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence for effective document and requirement management.
• Ability to identify gaps in requirements and take proactive measures to ensure timely resolution.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
