Job Overview:
Developing and implementing the company’s social media strategy. This includes managing social media accounts, creating content, engaging with the online community, and analyzing performance metrics to ensure brand visibility, engagement, and growth across platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Social Media Strategy:
- Develop, execute, and manage social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
- Identify key target audiences and develop content strategies tailored to different social platforms.
- Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to ensure the company stays ahead of the curve.
2. Content Creation & Curation:
- Create and manage engaging content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) that aligns with the brand’s voice and objectives.
- Design graphics, write copy, and produce video content for posts, stories, and campaigns.
- Curate content from other sources, ensuring relevance and value for the audience.
3. Social Media Management:
- Manage daily activities on social media accounts, including posting, responding to comments, and engaging with followers.
- Monitor brand mentions, direct messages, and customer inquiries on social media.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule and ensure timely responses to customer queries or comments.
4. Campaign Management & Execution:
- Plan and execute paid social media campaigns, including ads on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- Monitor and optimize ad performance, adjust budgets, and refine targeting to achieve campaign objectives.
- Collaborate with other teams (e.g., design, copywriting, and sales) to support promotions and product launches.
5. Analytics & Reporting:
- Analyze social media metrics and insights to measure campaign performance and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rates, website traffic, and conversion rates.
- Prepare regular reports on social media performance and provide actionable insights to improve future strategies.
- Use tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and third-party tools to monitor and analyze results.
6. Community Engagement:
- Build and maintain a strong online community by engaging with followers, responding to inquiries, and facilitating conversations.
- Run social media contests, polls, and giveaways to increase engagement and grow the brand’s social media presence.
- Monitor social media trends, hashtags, and competitors to identify new opportunities for engagement.
7. Brand Advocacy:
- Advocate for the brand and manage online reputation by ensuring that all content posted on social media reflects the company’s values and tone.
- Identify influencers and potential brand ambassadors for collaboration opportunities to expand the brand’s reach.
8. Collaboration & Cross-functional Support:
- Collaborate with other marketing team members, product managers, and sales teams to ensure alignment of social media initiatives with overall marketing objectives.
- Provide support for other digital marketing activities as needed (e.g.email marketing).
