How It Works

Progress During Hackathon
During the hackathon, our team successfully developed "WordSmith," a decentralized word-guessing game built on blockchain technology. We effectively implemented the game mechanics where players guess words with only vowels visible, using TheMythicToken (TMT) for entries and rewards. We deployed two main smart contracts on the EDU Chain: one for the game logic and another for the TMT token management. Players can now engage with a fully interactive game, paying an entry fee and receiving tokens for correct guesses. The integration of blockchain ensures that all game operations are transparent and secure. The frontend was also set up to facilitate easy wallet connections and gameplay interaction. Our efforts were focused on creating a robust, fun, and fair gaming environment that also supports future enhancements such as hints, leaderboards, and NFT rewards.
