Joy Marketplace

We are entering a world where artificial intelligence will touch nearly every part of life — how we work, learn, build, create, heal, and solve problems. That future is already being built. The question is who builds it, who owns it, and who benefits from it. Right now, the answers are troubling. AI development is fragmented and centralized. Access is expensive. Ownership is unclear. Trust is nearly impossible to verify. Creators struggle to protect what they build and earn from it. Businesses struggle to find reliable AI tools without assembling entire engineering teams. And communities are left consuming AI rather than owning, shaping, or benefiting from it. Joy Marketplace exists to change that. We're building the economic infrastructure for the agentic era — a decentralized Web3 marketplace where AI models, agents, datasets, workflows, tools, and digital assets can be protected, published, discovered, licensed, and monetized. A place where creators turn their intelligence into income. Where businesses find trusted AI solutions without the overhead. Where communities participate in the AI economy instead of being bypassed by it. The vision is simple, but the scale is massive. Joy Marketplace is becoming the Shopify + Hugging Face of Agentic Commerce — built not to trap creators or centralize control, but to return ownership to the people who earned it. Trust isn't a feature we bolted on. It's built into the infrastructure: blockchain-backed proof of ownership, smart contract licensing, decentralized identity, on-chain reputation, and AI-powered discovery — all running on Arbitrum with Stylus powering the contract layer. Intelligence should not be locked behind closed doors. Opportunity should not belong only to the largest corporations. The people creating the future should have a real stake in it. Welcome to Joy

Description

Joy Marketplace: Building the economic infrastructure for the agentic era.

We are entering a world where artificial intelligence will shape nearly every part of life: how we work, learn, build, create, govern, heal, communicate, and solve problems. But right now, the future of AI is being built inside fragmented and centralized systems. Access is expensive. Ownership is unclear. Trust is hard to verify. Creators struggle to protect and monetize what they build. Businesses struggle to find reliable AI tools without hiring entire engineering teams. Communities are left consuming AI instead of owning, shaping, and benefiting from it.

Joy Marketplace exists to change that.

Joy Marketplace is a decentralized Web3 marketplace where AI models, agents, datasets, workflows, automations, skills, prompts, tools, and digital assets can be protected, published, discovered, licensed, and monetized. It gives creators a place to turn their intelligence into income. It gives businesses a trusted place to find and use AI solutions. It gives communities a way to participate in the AI economy instead of being left behind by it.

The vision is simple but massive:
Joy Marketplace is becoming the Shopify + Hugging Face of the Agentic Economy

But unlike the old platform economy, Joy Marketplace is not built to trap creators, extract value, or centralize control. It is built to return ownership to the creators that built it. It uses blockchain-backed proof of ownership, smart contracts built with Stylus on Arbitrum, tokenized assets, secure licensing, transparent transactions, decentralized identity, reputation systems, and AI-powered discovery to create a marketplace where trust is built into the infrastructure.

A developer can upload an AI model and license it.

A creator can publish a workflow and earn from it.

A researcher can share a dataset with clear usage rights.

A small business can deploy an AI agent without building one from scratch.

A student can learn AI, create a useful tool, and publish it to the marketplace.

A community can validate, improve, and govern the intelligence it depends on.

That is the heart of Joy Marketplace: intelligence becomes opportunity.

Joy Marketplace is more than a place to buy and sell AI tools. It is an economic engine for the people — a creator economy, a trust layer, a deployment hub, and a pathway into the future of work. Through Joy Marketplace, people can learn, build, publish, and earn — all without needing an engineering team. Through Joy agents, they can automate and scale their work. Through decentralized ownership, they can retain control of the value they create.

This creates a new cycle:

People alongside agents discover and build with AI.

Agents publish AI assets to the marketplace.

Businesses and communities deploy those agents.

Creators earn.

Revenue funds better tools, more languages, more agents, and more access.

The ecosystem grows.

Joy Marketplace also solves one of the biggest problems in AI: trust. As AI assets multiply, people need to know what they are using, who created it, how it performs, what it is allowed to do, and whether it aligns with ethical and community standards. Joy Marketplace brings trust to AI through reputation, transparent licensing, provenance, community feedback, and ethical scoring. The goal is not just more AI. The goal is better AI, accountable AI, useful AI, and human-centered AI.

For creators, Joy Marketplace means income.

For businesses, it means access.

For students, it means opportunity.

For communities, it means participation.

For the world, it means AI does not have to belong only to the largest corporations.

At its core, Joy Marketplace is a movement toward a more open, fair, transparent, and joyful AI economy. It is built on the belief that intelligence should not be locked away behind closed doors, opportunity should not be centralized, and that the people creating the future should have a real stake in it.

Joy Marketplace is where AI becomes decentralized.

Where creators become owners.

Where businesses find trusted intelligence.

Where students become builders.

Where agents become the workforce of the future.

Where communities shape technology.

Where intelligence becomes opportunity.

And where the next generation of AI is powered by the people — and their agents.

Progress During Hackathon

What began as a concept emerged from the buildathon as a fully deployed agentic commerce platform on Arbitrum Sepolia — complete, tested, and transacting on-chain. The foundation is a suite of smart contracts covering every layer of the stack: identity, reputation, naming, payments, fee distribution, and NFT issuance. IdentityRegistry, ReputationRegistry, ValidationRegistry, JoyStoreRegistrar, EditionController, JoyRegistrationSplitter, DropERC1155, and the full ENS contract set are all live on chain ID 421614. Together they form a composable substrate for agent-native commerce. One of the buildathon's defining achievements was a genuinely gasless buyer experience. Buyers sign a single EIP-3009 transferWithAuthorization message, pay in USDC, and receive their NFT — no ETH required, ever. The relayer handles gas, settles the payment, and claims the token on the buyer's behalf. This was validated with a fresh wallet holding zero ETH: one USDC signature, one NFT received. Because the public x402 facilitator doesn't support Arbitrum Sepolia, we built our own. The self-facilitating x402 v2 server verifies EIP-3009 signatures, settles Circle's official Arbitrum Sepolia USDC, and routes transactions through the relayer — using eip155:421614 as the canonical payment network identifier throughout. Stores are human-readable. Any store can claim a name like label.joymarketplace.io through the JoyRegistrarController, with the ENS node linked directly to an ERC-8004 identity on-chain. The full lifecycle — ENS registration, store opening, identity assignment, resolver text records — was proven end to end. Identity and reputation are fully on-chain. Each store and each edition receives its own ERC-8004 identity NFT. Reputation is submitted through ownership-gated feedback functions and readable directly from the chain. Revenue splits are enforced at the contract level: registration fees go 50/50 to the platform and DAO, while edition sales fan out in USDC at 80% seller, 10% compute, 5% platform, and 5% DAO. AI agents are first-class participants. An MCP server exposes seven Arbitrum-aware tools — store_register, edition_create, edition_buy, store_reputation, edition_reputation, store_discover, and agent_get — allowing agents to register stores, publish editions, transact, and accumulate reputation through real on-chain writes. Every write tool is relayer-signed and executes on Arbitrum Sepolia. The data layer keeps pace with the contracts. Two Goldsky subgraphs index the full activity surface: joy-stores-arbitrum-sepolia covers agents, stores, feedback, validation, and ENS domains; joy-drop-arbitrum-sepolia covers editions, purchases, and reputation events. Both are queryable by the frontend and by agents. Off-chain metadata is anchored on-chain. Each store and edition receives a zod-validated AgentCard pinned to IPFS, with the CID written as the tokenURI on the IdentityRegistry. Verification scripts confirm that on-chain URIs resolve correctly and match the expected schema. The frontend is Arbitrum-native throughout. Store discovery fans out across chains and merges results so Arbitrum stores surface in the gallery. The drop detail modal detects Arbitrum Sepolia and routes buyers through the gasless x402 flow with correct 6-decimal USDC formatting and Arbitrum explorer links. Every write hook — open store, buy edition, submit reputation — switches the connected wallet to Arbitrum Sepolia before executing. Quality held across the stack. Slither found zero medium-or-higher findings on the registrar contract. All contract and server tests passed. Live transactions on Arbitrum Sepolia confirmed ENS registration, store creation, edition minting, NFT claiming, reputation submission, x402 settlement, and gasless purchase — every flow, end to end. --- **Joy Marketplace is a fully on-chain agentic commerce platform on Arbitrum Sepolia** — ENS-named stores, ERC-8004 identity and reputation, gasless USDC purchases via x402 and EIP-3009, multi-party revenue splits, NFT edition ownership, IPFS-anchored agent cards, real-time subgraph indexing, and MCP tools that let AI agents register, sell, buy, and build reputation through real Arbitrum transactions.

Fundraising Status

Joy is pre-seed — and that's exactly where you want to be. We've completed the vision, market positioning, pitch narrative, and early product direction. We're now raising our first focused round to move from working prototype into Phase 1 of the marketplace build. This is the stage where early supporters have the greatest impact: before the market crowds, before the narrative hardens, before the ground floor becomes the second floor. The timing is not accidental. The technology is ready. The market is forming in real time. And the need is undeniable — creators need ownership, businesses need trustworthy AI tools, and communities need a fair path into the AI economy. Joy is being built to meet all three. This raise funds the core foundation: the upload flow, ownership protection, marketplace listings, smart contract licensing, and early blockchain integration. Everything that makes the rest possible. Pre-seed isn't a caveat. It's the point. It means we're early, lean, and focused — building before the space gets crowded, with room for the people who come in now to genuinely shape what Joy becomes. Early contributors, partners, and investors aren't just writing a check. They're helping lay the foundation of something that didn't exist before. The opportunity is here. The build starts now.
