OpenMind is a shared, always-available external memory layer built for AI agents, chatbots, virtual assistants, research assistants, customer support systems, personal companions, and any intelligent tool or system that needs to remember things accurately and forever.

Right now, almost every AI forgets almost everything the moment a conversation ends, a tool switches, or a session restarts. It has to cram months or years of important details into a tiny summary, throwing away most of the real information. That summary gets fed back in every time, causing the AI to give inconsistent answers, repeat itself, forget key promises or preferences, ask the user to explain things again, cost more money (longer prompts = more tokens), and sometimes just make stuff up when it can’t remember properly.

OpenMind fixes that problem completely.

It gives every AI a permanent, private, super-reliable “second brain” outside of the model itself. In this shared memory space the AI can safely store the full, original, uncompressed history of everything it has ever seen, said, or been told — every conversation turn, every document, every audio transcript, every customer interaction, every tool output, every relationship or fact it has learned about people, places, projects, or ideas.

Whenever the AI needs to remember something, it doesn’t have to rely on a lossy summary anymore. OpenMind is designed so any modern AI tool that already supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP) — such as Claude Desktop, Cursor, LangGraph agents, or similar integrations — can connect to it in seconds. Developers and users just paste one SDK, endpoint and suddenly their AI has perfect, private, persistent memory without them having to build or pay for their own backend.
