Description

Payrium — Multi-chain wallet with token-gated governance (DAO)

Payrium is a utility-first Web3 wallet designed to make crypto usage simple for everyday payments, while enabling real onchain governance through token-based access and voting.

Our MVP focuses on solving a core adoption problem: most wallets are built for experienced users, while new users need clarity, fast onboarding, and a clean UI. Payrium combines a mobile-first UX with built-in token utility and a DAO voting layer.

What Payrium offers

Non-custodial wallet (seed phrase based)

Create / import wallet

Portfolio dashboard

Send / receive tokens

Swap interface (via DEX router integration)

Token utility & DAO governance preview

DAO model (MVP-ready)

Payrium introduces a hybrid governance system where:

holders of PUM token (>0 balance) can access DAO and vote

non-holders can only view limited details + “Buy PUM” CTA

proposal creation is admin-controlled for MVP stage

votes are gasless snapshot-style, but voting power is based on onchain token balance

This design allows early users to be more than “wallet users” — they become participants in product direction and community decisions.

MVP launch approach

We are starting with BNB testnet, but the system is designed with a multi-chain roadmap in mind. Our build plan is:

validate user experience and flows

launch v1 MVP publicly

expand chains & integrations after product validation

Vision

Payrium’s long-term goal is to become a standard wallet layer where:

users manage assets across chains

PUM token becomes the utility unit (access, rewards, governance)

DAO decisions shape roadmap priorities and product utility

Progress During Hackathon

During the current build phase, we made significant progress from early design validation to a working MVP demo environment. 1) Product & UX Delivery Completed a full mobile-first UX prototype (clickable flows) Designed core wallet screens to be fully responsive across mobile / tablet / desktop Improved onboarding clarity with: splash + intro slides “Get Started” actions wallet creation / import flows 2) Wallet MVP Development (Functional) We implemented and deployed a working demo version of the wallet with real functionality for core flows. Current MVP capabilities include: Non-custodial wallet creation (mnemonic-based) Wallet import Wallet export PIN setup and security screens Encrypted storage of wallet secrets client-side Portfolio dashboard UI + basic account state visualization Wallet address display + QR generation for receiving funds 3) Security Implementation (MVP-grade) We implemented strong baseline security for the MVP stage: Client-side encryption using AES-256-GCM Proper key derivation using PBKDF2 + salt/IV No secrets stored in public codebase Codebase sanitized for public repository & review 4) Governance Layer (DAO) Preview To validate Payrium’s “community ownership” direction early, we included governance interfaces: DAO preview pages integrated into the navigation structure Voting UX built to support: future token-gated access control proposal listing and decision workflows MVP scope is focused on UX/testing and does not involve treasury interactions 5) Engineering & Infrastructure Live environment deployed for demo/testing GitHub public repository prepared for judge review: clean structure security hygiene audit no keys, mnemonics, or sensitive env data leaked Current Demo (MVP Live Preview) Live preview: https://payrium-dev.vercel.app GitHub repository: https://github.com/PayriumLabs/payrium-walletNote This MVP is built as a demo-grade validation layer before mainnet launch: designed to validate UX, product flows, and architecture transactions & advanced features are being finalized and hardened before public release

Fundraising Status

Self-funded. We are currently building the MVP with limited resources and exploring ecosystem grants, hackathons, and strategic partnerships. Our priority is shipping product and showing real traction before raising larger rounds.
