Zoniq Finance

Zoniq Finance is a hybrid PayFi relay protocol built on Arbitrum that bridges local fiat payments (QRIS) with on-chain settlement. It enables mainstream consumers to purchase digital assets seamlessly without a Web3 wallet, while securing protocol revenue through an automated merchant deposit sub-ledger executed on Arbitrum L2.

Description

Overview Zoniq Finance is a hybrid PayFi relay infrastructure deployed on Arbitrum designed to onboard mainstream users into the digital asset economy without crypto onboarding friction. By bridging local fiat payment rails (QRIS) with Arbitrum L2 settlement, Zoniq enables consumers to purchase digital assets seamlessly while securing protocol revenue through an automated merchant deposit sub-ledger.

The Problem

  • Consumer Web3 Friction: Mainstream retail buyers face steep drop-offs due to wallet installations, seed phrases, and gas fee acquisition.

  • Platform Revenue Leakage: Merging off-chain fiat with digital asset delivery typically results in uncollected protocol fees and centralized accounting overhead.

The Solution: PayFi Relay Architecture

  • Walletless Consumer Checkout: Buyers purchase digital assets instantly using familiar local QRIS payments without needing a crypto wallet or holding ETH for gas.

  • On-Chain Merchant Sub-Ledger: Merchants pre-fund collateral deposits directly on Arbitrum.

  • Automated Fee Deduction: For every verified fiat sale, the protocol automatically deducts a 5% fee from the merchant's deposit balance, maintaining trustless protocol accounting.

  • Deposit Guardrail Protection: Automated checks disable fiat checkout options if a merchant's deposit falls below required protocol thresholds.

Why Arbitrum? Arbitrum's sub-second block times and minimal L2 transaction costs make high-frequency merchant deposit updates and micro-settlements economically viable and responsive.

Progress During Hackathon

Architecture & Smart Contract Integration: Configured dApp settlement flow on Arbitrum Sepolia, connecting merchant deposits with on-chain verification. PayFi Relay Engine: Built the hybrid payment dispatcher separating on-chain crypto flows from verified off-chain fiat settlement. Automated Sub-Ledger & Guardrails: Developed database-backed ledger tracking with real-time balance checks that automatically lock/unlock QRIS checkout based on merchant deposit thresholds. Dual-Verification Receipt System: Implemented dynamic receipt generation, differentiating Arbiscan on-chain transaction hashes from cryptographically secure off-chain order tokens. Merchant Portal & UX Optimization: Built the vendor management dashboard with asynchronous transaction locking, real-time block confirmation status, and live deposit top-up workflows. Live Deployment: Deployed fully functional dApp to production at https://www.zoniqfinance.com/.

Fundraising Status

Bootstrapped. Currently seeking ecosystem grants and pre-seed funding to expand merchant integration and scale PayFi infrastructure on Arbitrum.
