Global news about countries often triggers strong emotional reactions on social media. Millions of opinions are expressed every day, but they remain as comments—without any actionable or measurable way to position oneself on geopolitical narratives. There is currently no simple mechanism for users to express conviction on whether a country’s global outlook is improving or deteriorating.
GeoBit converts country-level news sentiment into a tradable country index, enabling users to Long or Short a country’s narrative directly on-chain. Instead of trading complex financial instruments, users trade sentiment itself.
Each country’s index is generated by aggregating news data and applying AI-powered sentiment analysis, which is then indexed into a numerical value. This index becomes the basis for trading.
News data is collected per country and processed through sentiment analysis.
Sentiment scores are indexed into a country-specific index.
Users connect their wallet, deposit funds, and trade by simply swiping:
Swipe right to open a Long position
Swipe left to open a Short position
Positions can be closed fully or partially, and users can withdraw funds anytime.
GeoBit uses smart contracts deployed on Mantle Sepolia to handle:
Trading logic (open/close positions)
