## The idea
Attention is finite. When one name rises, another falls. That makes attention share a real, zero sum quantity, and a zero sum quantity can carry a real price. Sentidex turns that price into a market: perpetual, continuous, no expiry, no resolution. The flagship market prices 73 crypto influencers, from Vlad Tenev and Elon Musk to the most reactive traders on X, against each other in real time.
## Why it is different
- **Instant liquidity with zero external capital.** A new market is deep and tradable from its first block. No liquidity providers, no bootstrapping phase: the protocol's synthetic liquidity mechanism backs the market maker at creation.
- **Native shorts.** Short tokens are first class objects, not derivatives. No funding rate, no borrowing. A Long and a Short of the same name auto merge on arrival to release $1 of collateral, so exits are always available.
- **Everything is gasless.** The faucet funds a fresh wallet with a $10,000 test balance plus a little gas. Trades and ERC20 wraps are EIP-712 signed orders that a relayer submits and pays for. A user never needs to acquire ETH.
- **Composable.** Any position exports to a standard ERC20 with one signature, ready for wallets, transfers, and DeFi. Trading itself stays native and gasless; wrapping is opt in.

## Under the hood
All collateral lives in a single on chain Ledger, denominated in eUSDC, the protocol's collateral token. Markets are quoted by an O(1) LMSR market maker: one contract instance prices all outcomes, and the whole market (positions, pricing, liquidity) is created in a single transaction.
