Trust infrastructure for live-event resale. Lummy holds the buyer's money until 48 hours after the show, then pays the seller.
The problem Concert ticket resale in Indonesia runs through WhatsApp groups and X replies, with nobody in the middle. The buyer pays a stranger first, and when the ticket turns out fake or already used, the money is gone. At Coldplay's 2023 Jakarta show, police recorded 400 victims of ticket fraud and about Rp1.3 billion in losses.
What Lummy does Lummy is escrow for that resale: the seller gets paid only after the show. The buyer's money is held until 48 hours after it. A buyer turned away at the gate files a claim with proof, the seller can answer, and a person rules. With no claim, the seller is paid. A cancelled show refunds automatically.
Every ticket is checked first A barcode can be sold only once: our contract and our database refuse a second sale. Edited PDFs are flagged for a person. Claude reads the show, category and seat from the ticket text after personal data is removed; it fills in details and does not judge.
Two payment rails, one public record on Arbitrum In Indonesia, fans pay by QRIS in rupiah through Xendit, a licensed provider, and LummyLedger records every step of the order. For shows abroad, fans pay USDC from their own wallet with two signatures and no gas, and LummyEscrow locks it per listing. Once the claim window closes, anyone can release it to the seller, even if Lummy is down. We built that USDC checkout at Founder House.
Business. One platform fee per resale, shared with the organizer: 7.5% in total, 5% from the buyer and 2.5% from the seller, and the seller's 2.5% goes to the organizer that makes Lummy its official resale partner. That is still far below global resale sites. No organizer has signed yet, so today only the buyer pays: 5% (minimum Rp25,000), and the seller keeps the full price.
