The MetaMask Card Hackathon is designed to inspire developers, designers, and innovators to build innovative applications that integrate the MetaMask Card, LI.FI, and USDC. This event aims to bridge the gap between traditional finance and decentralised ecosystems, promoting solutions that enhance user experiences, financial accessibility, and on-chain utility.
Select participating developers will have the opportunity to record their project demo and receive a professionally produced video at the Circle Dev Summit Cannes, with Circle and MetaMask helping amplify the video and project post-event.

Track 1: Smart Agents & Liquidity Automation - $6k
Build smart agents and automation systems (onchain bots, workflows, or smart contracts) that handle spending, rebalancing, and real-time liquidity management across chains. Ideal solutions optimize rewards, credit usage, or card top-ups with minimal user input.
Track 2: DeFi-Driven Card Utilities - $6k
Create DeFi tools that boost the utility of card-linked assets. Think allocation, protocol routing, or trustless credit lines. Explore how composable DeFi protocols can power borrowing, repayments, or staking tied directly to card activity.
Track 3: Identity & OnChain Reputation - $6k
Use onchain identity, KYC, and behavioral data to power loyalty programs, access tiers, or exclusive perks. Explore integrations that transform user actions into reputation or rewards, bridging the gap between privacy and personalization.
Track 4: Multichain USDC Payment System - $6k
Build an application that enables multichain USDC payments and payouts, remittances, treasury rebalancing, swaps, or seamless USDC purchases.
Track 5: Composable Cross-Chain Applications - $6k
Build seamless, composable apps that span multiple chains, abstract away complexity, and empower users to move value, data, or identity across ecosystems without friction.

Submission requirements
Projects must explore real-world use cases of the MetaMask Card (rewards, identity, DeFi credit, etc.).
Projects must use USDC for stablecoin payments and payouts
Projects must use LI.FI SDK/API/Widget (Track 4 only)
A README with project details and a short recorded demo video is required.
Live hosted demo or working prototype.
