A Step-by-Step Guide for Bittensor Learning Track

Step 1: Landing with HackQuest Home Page
●Click “Sign up” to register with your Google or GitHub account, email, OCID, or your Crypto Wallet (currently supporting MetaMask).
●Click "Sign in" if you already have an account with us!
Meet Your Learning Buddy –Quack
●Upon logging in, you’ll be introduced to Quack, your personal learning companion.
●Interact with Quack to make your journey fun and engaging. You can level it up by completing tasks and earning coins.
Begin Your Onboarding Activities
●Navigate to the Daily Quest section, where you’ll find tasks to help you get started:
●Like Projects: Like 4 projects to earn 10 streak coins.
●Start Learning: Begin learning to earn additional streak rewards.
●Claim Streak Rewards: Check your streak and claim daily rewards to stay consistent.
Complete Quests, Refer, and Earn Rewards
●Work on completing your Level-Up Quests (e.g., finish 20 quests or enroll in a learning track) for extra coins.
●Refer friends using your unique code and unlock rewards as your network grows.
Stay Engaged and Watch Your Quack Evolve
●The more you interact, learn, and complete quests, the stronger and cooler your Quack will become.
●Unlock fun features and gear as you progress!
Step 2: Enroll in the Bittensor Learning Track
●Navigate to the “Learn” tab, click “Explore Course”.Click on the “Bittensor Developer” Button and "Add To My Progress" to start your Learning Track.
●Participants in the Bittensor Learning Track will begin with Phase 1: Bittensor Fundamentals, exploring the rise of AI and the emergence of Bittensor before diving into its core mechanisms, tooling, and tokenomics. Through Concept II: Design and Operational Mechanisms of Core Bittensor Subnets, you will examine real subnet architectures including Chutes (decentralized inference infrastructure), Data Universe (decentralized data provisioning), SportsTensor (sports event prediction), and Ridges (engineering and code intelligence). These modules provide a conceptual understanding of how Bittensor coordinates decentralized intelligence through incentive-driven subnet markets.
●In Phase 2: Building on Bittensor Subnet, participants move into hands-on development through guided projects. Guided Project I: SportsTensor (SN41) Mining Guide walks learners through setting up a Bittensor wallet, funding TAO, registering miners, binding identities through the Almanac system, and executing programmatic trading strategies. Guided Project II: From Zero to Miner — Hands-On Mining on the Bittensor Data Universe Subnet introduces the SN13 subnet, covering environment setup, miner configuration, data scraping strategies, scoring mechanisms, and decentralized storage workflows using S3. Together, these projects provide practical experience operating miners and participating in Bittensor’s decentralized AI infrastructure.
Step 3: Begin Learning and Building
●Bittensor Learning Track embraces Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles to cater to various learners:
●For experienced developers: Dive directly into the quizzes to test your understanding.
●For newcomers: Thoroughly review the left-side content before doing the quests to build a solid foundation. Utilize metaphors and real-use cases to understand the logic behind the syntax.
●Got a question on your mind? Just ask AI!
●We’d love for you to check out our Ask AI feature! It’s a great way to get quick summaries of sections, learn something new, and dive into related concepts. Enjoy exploring!
Step 4: Found a Bug? Report and Claim Rewards!
●If you find a bug, click the "Question Mark" icon in the upper right corner to report it and earn rewards. Join our Telegram community to share your experiences and collaborate on solutions.
Step 5: Hatch Your Quack, and Collect Your Learning Treasures from the “Quest” Tab
●Complete Quests and Earn Coins: Focus on Daily Quests such as liking projects, linking your course, and maintaining streaks to earn coins. Progress through Level-Up Quests by completing 20 quests, enrolling in a learning track, joining the Discord community, or registering an account to claim rewards.
●Track Progress and Unlock Rewards: Use the tracker to monitor tasks and maintain daily engagement. Collect milestone badges, mint your first Quack Genesis NFT, and unlock higher tiers like HiQuack Corporal and Sergeant.
●Maximize Rewards: Refer friends using your link to earn bonuses and drop Quack Coins daily to claim treasures and surprises.
●Tip:
●Check the Daily Quest refresh timer to maximize your rewards.
●Watch for special events offering extra coins and bonuses.
Step 6: Claim Your Certificate and Become a Certified Bittensor Learner & Builder
●Complete the learning track and the developer quest to earn dual-accredited SBT certificates co-issued by Bittensor and HackQuest, gaining recognition for your blockchain skills and joining a community with access to grants, events, and mentorship.
Step 7: Apply Your Skills in Upcoming Hackathons via the “Build” Tab
From learner to builder, hackathons are your gateway to winning money, gaining recognition, making friends, expanding your network, finding mentors, and even starting your own venture. You’re just one step away from registering for a chance to win a share of the prize pool in upcoming hackathons!
●Join Upcoming Hackathons: Head to the “Build” tab and tap on “Explore Hackathon” to discover events featured on the HackQuest Hackathon page.
●Register and Compete: Take the leap to register and compete, unlocking new opportunities along the way.
●Explore Past Projects: Browse the “Project Archive” for winning projects to gain insights and inspiration.
●Organize Your Own Hackathon: Kickstart your own hackathon by clicking on the “Start a New Hackathon” button and bring your ideas to life!
Step 8: Upskill and Connect Through Events, Camps, and Resources in the “Community” Tab
HackQuest empowers every learner and builder with the resources to succeed, including global events, forums, co-learning camps, a glossary for Web3 immersion, blogs for updates and insights, faucets for test tokens, a job station for opportunities, and a press kit to explore HackQuest’s mission.
Global Event
●Attend events to engage with other Web3 enthusiasts, network with leading voices, and collaborate to shape the future of Web3.
●Filter events by location, type, or status (ongoing, upcoming, past).
●Click on an event card to view detailed information and register.
Co-Learning
●Join co-learning camps where Web3 enthusiasts collaborate to solve challenges and share knowledge.

●HackQuest Forum is a vibrant hub where you can share in-depth technical articles, seek and provide expert advice, and shape the future of Web3 alongside other quacks worldwide. Start posting today!
Organization Hub
● Go to Organization Hub under the Community section in the left sidebar.
●Click Apply for Organizer to register your organization or explore existing ones.
●Browse or search under All Organization to discover ecosystems like EDU Chain, Sonic, or XION.
●Once approved, your organization will appear under My Organization for management and updates.
Glossary
●Explore a quick guide to essential Web3 terms, helping you navigate the crypto world with ease.
●Search terms alphabetically or by category (e.g., NFT, DeFi, etc).
●Use the “Request Glossary” button to suggest new terms for inclusion.
Blog
●Dive into news, announcements, study notes, and user insights to stay updated with Web3 trends and community highlights.
●Explore blog categories like News, Events, Study Notes, and User Spotlight.
●Contribute your insights by clicking “Contribute Blogs.”
Faucets
●Access free testnet tokens for developing and testing blockchain projects across multiple networks.
●Select your preferred testnet (e.g., EVM, Solana, Sui).
●Complete your profile to request tokens and receive them instantly.
Job Station
●Discover the latest Web3 job opportunities tailored to your skills and interests.
