  • To operate, maintain, and optimize the HackQuest developer platform and educational tracks.

HackQuest provides technology integrations, including automated coding evaluators and developer education tools, which may be privately deployed or integrated onto third-party platforms, partner ecosystems, or corporate infrastructures. In such scenarios:

  • Data Controller vs. Data Processor: When our AI tools or educational structures are hosted, deployed, or executed within a third-party partner's platform, that partner operates as the primary Data Controller. HackQuest acts strictly as a technology vendor or Data Processor.

  • Data Isolation: Any data, source code, or personal identifiers processed within such private third-party deployments remain localized within the partner's secure infrastructure. HackQuest does not access, harvest, store, or utilize the personal data processed by our AI tools on these external host platforms.

  • Governing Policies: Your use of our tools when hosted on a partner’s platform is subject to the respective partner's privacy policies and data security protocols. We recommend reviewing the host platform's legal terms to understand their data usage practices.

Data Sharing and Third-Party Disclosures

We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only under the following limited conditions:

  • Event Co-Organizers and Sponsors: When you register for a specific hackathon, grand prix, or developer ecosystem challenge, your profile and project submission details are shared with the respective co-organizers, sponsors, and judges.

  • Banking Partners and Payment Processors: Necessary payout information is shared with commercial banks, stablecoin gateways, and crypto payment processors to execute grant distributions securely.

  • Service Providers: Cloud hosting infrastructures (e.g., AWS, Alibaba Cloud), analytical engines, and operational toolsets acting under our direct strict guidance.

  • Legal Mandates: Regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies, or compliance auditors in Singapore and relevant international jurisdictions when legally compelled.

Cross-Border Data Transfers

As a global developer platform operated by a Singapore corporate entity, HackQuest may transfer, store, and process your personal information outside of your home country. By utilizing the platform, you acknowledge and consent to your data being transferred to infrastructures situated in Singapore, the United States, and other regions where our servers or service providers operate. We deploy standard contractual clauses and security mechanisms to guarantee your data receives equivalent levels of safety regardless of the geographical location.
